Alexis Louise Hennen

Alexis Louise Hennen was born Wed. June 1, 2011 at 9:51 am via C-section. She weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19 inches long. Lots of hair!! She has been the most amazing addition to our family!! The kids just eat her up especially Dale!! Makaelynn is slowly warming up to her and doesn't call her "It" anymore!! John has spoiled her rotten holding her all the time and letting her sleep on him!! Its amazing I can get anything done around the house!! She has been such a sweet baby, calm and sleeps alot!! I cannot imagine our lives without her now!!! Sorry the pictures are out of order!!! More pictures to come!!!

Janet Louise Shelley Lindsay

My sweet Grandma Lindsay passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sat April 16, 2011. She was the most Christ like person I have ever known. She suffered for 20 years with Muscular Dystrophy and I never once heard her complain even when they finally put a feeding tube in and she was no longer to eat food. She still made sure she made my Grandpa 3 meals a day and cooked all the food for our family dinners!! We got the great chance to actually see her the Tuesday before she passed for Makaelynn's birthday, she never forgot the birthdays. We almost missed them that day because they came while I was at the store but luckily they decided to stop by my moms and they stayed longer than they usually do, they never like to impose. They gave Makaelynn a cute little Piggy bank that talks and it is one of her favorite things!! She looked really good that day and we were all encourage that she was getting back on track. That very next day I recieved an email from her saying how proud she was of me and what a great mother I had become and even praised me for not gaining much weight with this baby. When she ended the email she said that she hopes things continue to go well for us all. I think she knew what was coming and was preparing. Thurs she got the stomache flu and went down from there. My Grandpa put her to bed that night and she told him she would feel better in the morning, and she was right!! I hope she is having the happiest reunion with her parents, brother and her Daughter!! But oh how I miss her and her weekly phone call checking on John, the kids and I!! Grandma, You are AMAZING!! Thank you for your amazing example of how a Daughter of God should live her life!!

Today I got the amazing experience to go wtih my Mom, my Aunts, my cousin and my sister to prepare her for the funeral. It was like nothing I have ever experienced!! She looked so peaceful and it was the first time she was able to close her eyes in years!! I am so thankful for the knowledge of Eternal families that I have and I know I will see her again and it will be the greatest reunion!! I love you Grandma!!

Makaelynn's New Haircut Thanks to her!!!

This sweet little babe decided she was going to cut her hair yesterday while I was downstairs, I had left my haircutting stuff in the kitchen like an idiot and she got into it. I came upstairs and was horrified!! I was able to somewhat cover most of the damage but you can see the bald spot through the hair. Good thing she looks cute with short hair!!!

Luckily for me I had her hair half up and was able to switch her part to cover the damage!! Hopefully we have both learned our lessons!!!

Makaelynn's and Alexis Quilt Tops

I decided I was going to make Alexis' bedding since I couldn't find exactly what I wanted so I figured I would make her and Makaelynn's match. It was so fun and easy!! Now I just have to decide whether to tie or quilt them!!!

Sailor Dale Robinson Jr.

My Brother DJ has enlisted in the Navy and just finished his schooling he has been gone for the last 8 months and we have got the priveledge of having his sweet family living behind us and have got to see the cousins all the time. This is when he came home, he came home Thurs. and then they moved on Mon. morning to their new home in Norfolk Virginia. I am so proud to have a brother that is willing to serve our country and miss him and his family like crazy!! He is suppose to be deployed on the April 4th so we will see what happens. Here is a picture of him with all the nieces and nephews and some of my kids with his oldest boy Brayden.

Sorry everyone for the lack of posts lately. We have been without internet and I have been on bedrest. Not the best 2 months of my life!! I am now on light duty and able to do a few things. So I figured I would post a few things today.
